This 2-Horse model is a straight load design and is ideal for pleasure or showing. If you're looking a fancy little bumper pull, the Townsmand is definitely the trailer of choice. It is standard 7' tall, has a full swinging divider and has all the space you need for tack and accessories. In the front, one large drop down feed window works well for easy access to both horses and also provides adequate air-flow during the hot summer months. The Townsmand also has our exclusive slope tapered aerodynamic nose which makes the trailer easier to tow. By having a side tack design, we are able to install a convenient full escape door which makes loading a breeze....and very safe. 

This lightweight trailer is ideal for any SUV because the trailer only weighs 2600 lbs. approximately.  Don't forget, our new smooth skin design with **NO-Rust Galvaneal metal will last a lifetime. Popular options on this trailer include Ramp and tandem axle brakes.

All Double D Trailers are now built with the new **NO Rust Galvaneal metal and painted with an electrostatic paint system. All metal is stored indoors so there is no rust on the trailers when they roll out of the factory...everything is washed with a steamer and iron phosphate to open up the pores of the metal to allow the primer to stick better, and to remove oil residue. Once that dries, all the seams are sealed with 3M sealant inside and out. Then we prime with two coats of Valspar, automotive primer and paint with three coats of Valspar automotive paint. End result is a very durable, smooth, shining, long lasting finish.
