Check out our new "Sportabout" design. This two horse trailer comes standard 7' tall, has lined and padded stalls, and is fully enclosed. It is a very unique design in that it has a half manger in the horse area. The half manger provides adequate space for tack and supplies and does allow for one horse to be fed while in transit. Loading is very easy in this trailer because when loading the second horse, you can exit through the walk through door to the dressing room and not have to climb out of a small door on the side. The swinging stall divider also works well for loading, plus it can be easily removed for other hauling purposes such as moving hay to the barn. Whether showing or trail riding, the "Sportabout" is an all-around trailer for everyone. The 6' dressing room provides plenty of space upfront for overnight stays, and an awning and A/C can easily be installed for more comfort and style. And don't forget, our smooth skin design with the **No Rust Galvaneal will last a lifetime.

Weight of trailer is 4300 lbs approximately and can be towed with most any 1500 series half ton pick up truck.

All Double D Trailers are now built with the new **NO Rust Galvaneal metal and painted with an electrostatic paint system. All metal is stored indoors so there is no rust on the trailers when they roll out of the factory...everything is washed with a steamer and iron phosphate to open up the pores of the metal to allow the primer to stick better, and to remove oil residue. Once that dries, all the seams are sealed with 3M sealant inside and out. Then we prime with two coats of Valspar, automotive primer and paint with three coats of Valspar automotive paint. End result is a very durable, smooth, shining, long lasting finish.
