This two horse trailer comes standard 7' tall, has lined and padded stalls, and is fully enclosed. It is a very unique design in that it has a half manger in the horse area. The half manger provides adequate space for tack and supplies and does allow for one horse to be fed while in transit. Loading is very easy in this trailer because when loading the second horse, you can exit through the walk through door to the dressing room and not have to climb out of a small door on the side. The swinging stall divider also works well for loading, plus it can be easily removed for other hauling purposes such as moving hay to the barn. Whether showing or trail riding, the "Sportabout" is an all-around trailer for everyone. The 6' dressing room provides plenty of space upfront for overnight stays, and an awning and A/C can easily be installed for more comfort and style.

Recently, the more popular version of the Sportabout has been to eliminate the manger, add dual escape doors on either side and install saddle racks inside of the dressing room. This layout seems to work best for folks at shows who are not using the trailer to sleep or camp inside.  The 7'6" height option is a very popular option for the larger horses.

Many breeds of horses today are very large, particularly in states such as New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Ohio.  We have sold a number of Sportabout models in those states with Delivery to any of those.

Weight of trailer is 4300 lbs approximately and can be towed with most any 1500 series half ton pick up truck.
