Renegade Trailers  

Our "Renegade" Trailer is one of our latest production units offering room for three people to sleep and toilet inside. While it doesn't have all the luxuries of our RawHide Trailers, it has all the basic necessities for camping.  Dressing room is carpeted, insulated and paneled. It has a front Wardrobe in the nose, leather covered valences with conchos, vinyl flooring,  Drop down dinette for eating and sleeping, 110V electrical hook-up, 12V hook-up, 30 Gallon fresh water tank, whisper king water pump, 6 gallon propane hot water heater,  kitchen style cabinet w/laminate top, all hand built, also has a  Roof Mount A/C 13,500 BTU w/heat strip.  And the nice thing about this trailer, a cowboy's shower as well as the toilet equipped w/single wastewater tank.

 The slant dressing room comes standard with a walk-through door to the horse area. Each stall in the horse area has a pop-up roof vent, drop down feed windows with aluminum safety bars, and sliding windows with safety bars and screen. Smoked plywood kick lining is installed on the left and right walls to prevent damage to the trailer. Also, check out our new exclusive rear Tack Around design--It has easy access for tack and works well for loading and un-loading the horse. This new design leaves the entire rear of the trailer open yet still utilizes the space. This trailer weighs about 5800 lbs and can be towed with most any 1500 series half ton pick up truck.  Call for more details.

All Double D Trailers are now built with the new **NO Rust Galvaneal metal and painted with an electrostatic paint system. All metal is stored indoors so there is no rust on the trailers when they roll out of the factory...everything is washed with a steamer and iron phosphate to open up the pores of the metal to allow the primer to stick better, and to remove oil residue. Once that dries, all the seams are sealed with 3M sealant inside and out. Then we prime with two coats of Valspar, automotive primer and paint with three coats of Valspar automotive paint. End result is a very durable, smooth, shining, long lasting finish.
