15 Luxury Horse Trailers You Won’t Believe
We updated this article in December 2023 to add more information about each featured luxury trailer. Most of our original list remains the same, with the exception of those that are no longer available on the market.
If horses - and horse shows - are a regular part of your life, then you probably feel more at home in your horse trailer with living quarters than you do at home. Wouldn’t it be great to have all the amenities you have at home with you while you’re on the road?
Fortunately, you can! We’ve rounded up 15 of the most luxurious and extravagant trailers available today. Many of these units go above and beyond a recreational vehicle, and create an environment where you live, sleep, and entertain guests from your own comfortable quarters.
Read on to see why these 15 Luxury Horse Trailers You Won’t Believe are some of the most extravagant rolling homes on the road today.
1. SafeTack Reverse LQ from Double D Trailers
When you think of a home away from home with your horse, the SafeTack Reverse Living Quarters trailer delivers all the features you’d want, and all in Double D style.
The LQ features are of the same quality as you would find in a custom-built home. The Double D trailer is modern and is available with light-colored interior and furnishings. Most living quarters trailers are still being manufactured with dark interiors and dark cabinetry, making them look cramped and cave-like. You’ll feel relaxed in this spacious and airy trailer, and we’re sure you’ll find any reason possible to travel.
You can customize the Double D LQ trailer with certain features such as:
- cabinet doors
- crown molding
- fold-out sofa bed
- decor lights and fixtures
- bathroom vanity
- kitchen counters, and
- much more.
Our largest trailer measures a whopping 47 feet and 8 5/8 inches. It also comes stocked with all the appliances you’d expect in a luxury living quarters horse trailer.
This video demonstrates one of the most popular models in the luxury horse trailer market. And, like all Double D trailers, it comes equipped with standard Double D’s top-notch safety features and materials such as the patented swing out SafeTack® compartment, Z-Frame® technology construction, SafeKick® wall system, and the SafeBump® roof system.

3. Country Estate Ranch from Featherlite
The Country Estate Ranch luxury model horse trailer from Featherlite places the luxury more on the horses than the handler, but for owners who take pride in their animals, that shouldn’t be a problem.
The horse stalls are cushioned with stall pads that allow horses to ride in comfort. There is also a spray-on floor lining in the horse area for protection from those excitable hooves. State-of-the-art storage space makes it easy to keep hay and water handy, and the manger water troughs have their own drain valves. Electric fans protect against overheating, and the stable area is kept under the watchful eye of closed-circuit video cameras.
The living quarters also provide plenty of room for you and family to cook, sleep, eat, and shower. Finally, the entertainment consists of:
-
a flat screen TV with 4.1 surround, and
-
built-in DVD players.

4. Cimarron Trailer Custom Outfitted by Outlaw Conversions
This custom converted LQ horse trailer was built by Cimarron and outfitted by Outlaw Conversions.
This 47-foot 3-axle slant load trailer weighs 18,000 pounds (GVWR 24,000 lb) and is 47 feet from tip to tail, with 39 feet “on the floor”. It has an 18-foot short wall and an insulated roof. You can access the roof by the easy-angle ladder that detaches and adjusts to an angle for easier climbing to get to the gas-shock activated hay pod storage.
This beautiful LQ trailer:
-
sleeps six in three areas
-
has a large 7-foot slide-out for the couch, and
-
an Onan 7000 gas generator to supply power to the amenities such as AC units.
It also has a compressor for the quick-acting remote-controlled air suspension which you can activate on the three-axles when required. For tight turning, air is removed from the last axle, making it react more like a tandem axle. This air-ride suspension also makes for a comfortable ride for your horses. The enclosed front end keeps bad weather out of the controls for:
-
brakes,
-
propane bottles
-
batteries, and
-
compressor.
At nearly a quarter of a million dollars (without the truck!), it sells for about the same price as a Lamborghini.

13. Rivenlee 43-ft 6-Horse Trailer
Only a little smaller than No. 14 on our list, the Rivenlee 43-foot 6-horse LQ trailer brings the same attention to size, utilization, amenities, and comfort as the 48-foot model.

-
bedrooms, bathroom and toilet on the upper deck, and
-
bunks, kitchen and dinette on the lower.

-
40-inch and 27-inch LCD televisions
-
country pine flooring
-
copper countertops
-
pillar fascias on both slide-outs, and an

upgraded convection oven/microwave.

The great thing about buying a little older — this normally $200k trailer is now available for less than $90,000 – is that it still has a lot more going for it regarding comfort and functionality than many of its 2016-2017 model competition.
