Please describe how and why you came to Double D Trailers.
I researched a number of trailer manufacturers including the most common brands and some of the upper market brands like Elite, Cimarron, and 4-Star. All these companies were very difficult to deal with and speak to an actual person who represented the manufacturer rather than a distributor or sales yard. For two of these brands, I could not even get anyone to get back to me. I spoke to Double D and was able to get answers to my questions same day. I then asked around the whole sea community and unfortunately nobody had heard of Double D. So, I then researched online reviews and customer stories before finally making a decision to go with Double D.
What were your specific trailer needs and search criteria?
I specifically wanted an extra-large (draft breed) reverse slant load gooseneck.
Why do you feel Double D Trailers was the best deal on the market for you?
Double D was not the cheapest trailer. I was sold on the customer service and knowledge of Kalib when discussing my needs. I was also impressed with multiple articles and videos into horse travel safety and best practice travel options published by Double D.
What other trailers did you evaluate during your shopping process prior to purchasing from Double D Trailers?
Sundowner, Logan, Exiss, Featherlite, Hawk, Cimarron, 4-Star, Elite and Hart. Maybe there were more, but I still have notes on these guys. I did actually spend several months researching before selecting Double D.
Why did you purchase from Double D Trailers versus the other companies or brands you researched?
Service and ability to design exactly what I asked for.
